“Center for providing care at home in Municipality of Nevestino”

The project builds on services in a home environment of "New Alternatives" by continuing to providing the service "Personal Assistant" and creates conditions for new services - "Domestic assistant" and "Social assistant". Municipality of Nevestino has no experience in implementation of large social projects, this is the first that has the specific task - to create and local human resources for long-term provision of cross-sectoral integrated social services in home and community using the experience and professional capacity of the external body of the NGO sector. Representatives of the two target groups have access to long-term social and health care through the provision of integrated services to the specific needs of disadvantaged people. The project includes 62 individuals with serious social and health problems of the two target groups - People with disabilities and their families and People over 65 with restriction or inability to self-service. The project creates new jobs - 42 persons are included again in the labor market; There are formed professional skills of local human resources through training and supervisions of character of advanced training. The staff of the "Centre for integrated social services at home and social environment Municipality of Nevestino" will receive professional assistance through counseling and psycho-social support. For the consumers are provided rehabilitative care - social integration and medical rehabilitation to which they have no access due to lack of social institutions for providing day care. It is also provided motivational and psycho-social support
