"Worthy life for disadvantaged people in the Municipality of Svilengrad"

Since 2003, the activities of the Home social patronage is managed and financed by the Municipal Administration - Svilengrad. The capacity of the Home Social Patronage, after the repair and its supplies with modern cooking facilities has increased to 320 users. The offered services are limited mainly in preparation and delivery of food. At the moment, the support services in a home environment only benefit from users of the city twice a week. In operation "Help at Home" was established unit for service in a home environment for 60 users and the employed are 30 staff people. After the project completion are preserved 5 positions - home attendants to the newly opened unit for care at home. In operation "New Alternatives" are employed 51 people who serve 54 user. This project is a complementing and building on the operations "Help at Home" and "New alternatives". The project includes the provision of access to integrated services for 68 users and the social services will be provided by 62 staff people. The Services that will be offered will be tailored to the specific needs of disadvantaged people on the basis of his individual social assessment. The project aims to improve the quality of life and access to social inclusion services for people with disabilities and people over 65 in the inability for self-overcoming of the consequences of social exclusion and poverty. As a result of the implementation of the activities will provide opportunities and support for the effective exercise of their right to independent living and social inclusion, based on their specific needs and opportunities.
