Independent Life in Ilinden District

The overall objective of the current project proposal is improving the life quality and access to services for social inclusion as a response to complex requirements of disabled people and people aged over 65 in impossibility of self-servicing aiming at overcoming consequences of social exclusion and poverty as well as providing possibilities for returning to the real labour market of people who take care of their disabled relatives. Te specific objective is creation of virtual Center for complex delivery of hour services to the target group for social inclusion in domestic environment. The Center will upgrade the good results achieved from delivering of "Personal assistant" social service by wide range of activities towards delivering of integrated social and health and other services according to personal needs of disabled people. The project aims at the following activities: 1. Organization and Management. Preparation of procedures for selection under the Procurement Law. 2. Creation and functioning of Center for hour delivery of services for social inclusion in domestic environment. 3. Supervision. Risk management for services users. 4. Providing specialized transportation for disabled people 5. Information and Publicity. The project target group is 32 disabled people and people aged over 65 in impossibility of self-servicing who will participate in the first stage and 18 disabled people and people aged over 65 in impossibility of self-servicing receiving services under Project “New Alternatives” who will participate after finishing of "New Alternatives". In wider aspect the project will cover about 1300 people with disabilities incl. children and about 7300 elderly people resident to Ilinden District who will have the possibility to take advantage of part of the services delivered by the Center (in particular specialized transportation services).
