"Center for independent living in Byala Slatina Municipality"

The project envisages the creation of a new "Center for independent living in Byala Slatina Municipality " for providing of hourly services for social inclusion. It combines various actions towards overcoming social exclusion and ensuring access to integrated health and social services. The basic need that will be satisfied by the implementation of the project is to provide complex cares, which on the one hand shall improve the quality of life of older people and on the other shall enable unemployed people to be involved in the provision of new social services. Creation of a new Center for provision of fully integrated services for older people, including health care, will help to overcome the challenges posed by social exclusion. The project target groups are people with disabilities, people aged 65 and over with restrictions or inability for self-service and their families. The main objective of the project is creation of a new Center and its development in social hourly services in order to provide independent living for the elderly people and persons with disabilities. The specific objectives of the project are related to improving access to social and health services. As a result of the project implementation it is expected to improve the quality of social services and establishe of sustainable model for provision of social services in the community. The activities of the project are: Organization and management of the project] Preparation of tender documentation and conducting of public procurement procedures; Current repairs and maintenance of Center; Information and publicity; Selecting and appointing suitable staff and specialists; Assessment of the needs of target groups for inclusion in the services and selection of users; Conducting basic and advanced training for social service providers; Provision of integrated social services; Providing of motivation and psychological support for target groups; Supervision of staff who provide social services.
