Support for independent live through the "Centre for hourly providing services in a home environment- General Toshevo"

The project proposal envisages the creation of a "Centre for hourly providing services at home", which will function as a municipal enterprise. Fulfilling this project, the municipality will improve access to social services to people with disabilities and people over 65 years in the inability for self and improve their quality of life. Project activities will build on the established "Unit services at home" at the Home Social Patronage financed under OP "HRD" scheme "Help at Home". The Center will provide three types of hourly social services- personal assistance communal household activities and social support. It is envisaged that the services to be provided within 18 months, covering at least 100 hourly users of social services at home in most of the municipal center and the adjacent settlements of the municipality who are 41 in number. The project will be selected personnel to provide daily hourly social services- personal assistants, social assistants, domestic helpers. It plans to provide psychological, social and health support from a psychologist, social worker and nurse for social activities based on individual needs assessments of hourly social services at home. The implementation of project activities will achieve the objectives of access to services for target groups overcome the consequences of social exclusion and poverty, improving their quality of life.
