Provision of integrated services in Rakovski Municipality

The goal of the current project is improvement of the quality of life and access to integrated services for social inclusion of disabled people and people over 65 unable to support their living needs by the provision of services such as social and personal assistant, home assistant, psychological, social and health services. Rakovski Municipality will create a new "Center for integrated services provided at home". The integrated services will be provided for 18 months, but the entire duration of the project, including the center creation, the employee's selection and training, the services' providing and the conclusion is fixed at 22 months. Ten social and ten personal assistants, sixty home assistants, social worker, psychologist and half time nurse will provide services for social inclusion mostly in family environment. The center capacity is 82 users-disabled people and people over 65 unable to support their living needs, as to the end of the project at least 60 should have received improved integrated services. Accordingly to the integrated and innovative peculiarities, there will be initially evaluated the specific needs of each user including the target group of the procedure "New Alternatives".While completing this task, the center's personnel will follow the horizontal rules for equal opportunities and will avoid gender discrimination. The quality improvement of the services will be assured by the access to specific social, health and psychological services in accordance with the users' personal needs.
