Center for Independent Living

The project aims to create a new center for hourly service provision for social inclusion in the community or at home. The center will operate in the municipality of Georgi Damyanovo for a period of 22 months and will serve a total of 70 persons with disabilities and people over 65 in the inability to self in order to overcome the effects of social exclusion and poverty. The activities under the project are: 1. Organization and project management; 2. Providing access to integrated services, according to specific needs by creating a new center for hourly service provision for social inclusion in the community or at home and ensure its functioning; 3. Introducing and ongoing training for the staff providing services; 4. Preparation of a needs assessment of clients; 5. Development of operating rules and methodology of the Centre; 6. Provision of psychological support for the personnel providing social services; 7. Provision of psychological support for service users, according to their individual needs; 8. Information and publicity.
