Community centre for early child development and parent support "Nadezhda" -Burgas

The main aim of the project is prevention of social exclusion in the municipality of Burgas, reduction of poverty among the children by providing integrated services for early child development aimed at children under 7 years of age from vulnerable groups, including children with disabilities and their families, as well as future parents. The duration of the project is 68 months. The target groups of the project are children aged from 0 to 7 years and their parents, as well as future parents from risk groups. The project planned activities include : Early intervention of disabilities; Individual pedagogical support for children with disabilities; Psychological support and counselling of parents and future parents for the formation and development of parenting skills, family counselling and support, and individual and group work with children and parents, including children and parents that are not from vulnerable groups, aimed at their attendance of kindergarten; Support for child health consultation and activities for prevention of diseases; Additional pedagogical preparation for enhancement of children's school readiness for equal start at school; Family centre for children aged from 0 to 3 years. The present project extends the created under the Project for social inclusion (funded with Loan 7612BG from The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the period 2008 - 2015) integrated services for early child development, aimed at children under 7 years of age from vulnerable groups, including children with disabilities and their families, as well as future parents, which also included Family centre "Nadeshda". As a result of the project implementation, we expect an increase in the number of social inclusion services providers and increase in the number of children, having received support through the services. Included in the project planned activities will be 1500 children from vulnerable social groups, as well as 2000 parents and future parents.
