"Providing integrated social services for children and parents in Municipality of Knezha"

The project is in accordance with the requirements specified in this procedure of direct grant aid. The essence of the project is to prevent social exclusion, reducing child poverty by investing in early childhood development and for services provided in the Social Inclusion Project (financed by a loan from 7612 BG from The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the period 2008 - 2015). The project implementation will allow establishing a network of integrated services for early childhood development. The project "Providing of integrated social services for children and parents from vulnerable groups in the Municipality of Knezha" is planing to provide integrated social services to support children in infancy and their families to improve access to health care, formation of parenting skills, improving the family environment, increasing the school readiness of children for including the children in the educational system and preventing the placement of children in institutions. For the period of implementation of the project -53 months will be covered 310 children from the target groups and 360 parents. Services that Municipality of Knezha will provide for this project in accordance with the Guidelines for Applicants are as follows: - Providing psychological support and advice to future and present parents giving the formation and development of parenting skills, family counseling and support, individual and group work with children and parents, including children and parents from vulnerable groups, to attend kindergarten; - Support for providing health and child advice and activities on disease prevention; - Additional pedagogical training to increase the school readiness of children for equal start in school;
