With responsibility and care for children from 0 to 7 years of Straldja Municipality – 2

Description: The realization of the current project will support the activities implemented under the Social Inclusion Project (financed by loan 7612BG from the World Bank for reconstruction and development 2008 – 2015) for integrated municipal services for early child development targeting children aged 0 to 7 years from vulnerable groups, including children with disabilities and their families, as well as parents to be. The activities planned in the project include the obligatory activities mentioned in the guidelines for application in the procedure and the services appointed for Straldzha municipality. Project goal: Prevention of social exclusion and reducing poverty by supporting children at early age and their families through improving the access to health care, developing parental skills, improving family environment, increasing children’s interest towards inclusion in the educational system, as well as prevention of placing children into specialized institutions. Project activities: 1. “Organization, management and monitoring of the project”; 2. “Organization of tender procedures for the choice of subcontractors providing materials and supplies necessary for the administration of project services”; 3. “Providing psychological support and consultation for parents and parents to be for developing their parental skills”; “Family counseling and support” and “Individual and group sessions with children and parents including parents and children not belonging to vulnerable groups aiming kindergarten attendance”; 4. “Support for proving child health consultations and activities for disease prevention”; 5. “Additional pedagogical training for increasing children’s readiness and their equal start in school”; 6. “Management and functioning of services – Small capacity services without early intervention”; 7. “Promotion of the project and the goals of the European Social Fund”.
