"LOM MUNICIPALITY - IN CARE OF THE CHILDREN"

Project “Lom Municipality – in care for the children” is directed at presenting a complex of integrated services for early children’s development of 250 children at the age of 0 to 7 years from vulnerable groups, including children with disabilities and their families, as well as future parents. The project complements and overbuilds the implemented under the Social Inclusion project activities on the territory of the municipality. The project will be implemented in the period of 55 months and potential representatives of the target group who live on the territory of Lom Municipality will be able to use the following services for early children’s development: - Early intervention of the disabilities– with capacity 30 and 50 parents; - Individual pedagogic support for children with disabilities – with capacity 15 children. - "Providing psychological support and consultations to present and future parents for forming and developing of parents skills”, “Family consultation and support” and “Individual and group work with children and parents, including children and parents who do not belong to vulnerable groups but aimimg at visiting kindergartens” – with capacity 300 families. - Support for ensuring health children’s consultation and activities of disease prevention – with capacity 500 users; - Additional pedagogic training for increasing the school readiness of children for equal start at school – with capacity 30 users; The services will be provided at a community center which will be managed by a team which will govern the services development and functioning. The effective and quality realization of the complex of activities will lead to providing support and social inclusion of children at early childhood age and their families by improving the accessibility to health care, forming of parents skills, increasing the school readiness of children for school system inclusion, as well as prevention from placement of children into specialized institutions.
