Family Counselling and Support Centre - Pravets

The Municipality of Pravets has established the current project, which could improve the quality of life and the access to services for social inclusion as a response to the complex needs of 0 to 7 year old children and their families, as well as future parents from groups at risk, prevention and limitation of the risk of being in vulnerable position, minimisation of the risk of social exclusion, implementation of activities ensuring early childhood development. The project is continuation of other social projects and activities, through which analysis of target groups needs is done and there is clear vision for planned activities and its realisation to improve the established services and Family Counselling and Support Centre, established by the World Bank loan and the project “Social Inclusion”. The project intends social, educational and health-care activities. The aim of the municipality is to offer appropriate services for all groups at risk in order to form parenting skills, family counselling and support, encouraging parents and children to attend early childhood centres, to improve school readiness of children in the education system. As well as parent counselling for suitable children health care and equal starting point for all children before starting school.
