Complex for social-health services for children and families

The main project goal is prevention of the social exclusion by influence on and investments in the early childhood growth. Its achievement will be realized by provision of complex integrated social-health services directed at improvement of early childhood cares and building good parenting capabilities. The project develops the achieved with the realization of projects: “POSOKI – community provision of social-educational consultation and integration” and “Opening of innovative services for children and families in Gabrovo municipality”. The project target groups are: families with children 0-7 years, including children with disabilities; children 0-7 years in risk and their families; children and adults in risk. The work with the mentioned groups will be done by the realization of the following main activities: establishing of a Complex for social-health services for children and families; early intervention of the disabilities; individual pedagogical support for children with disabilities; provision of psychological support and consultation of future and actual parents for formation and development of parents’ skills; family consultation and support, incl. work with parents and children, family planning activities, individual work, incl. individual and group work, with children and parents not from the vulnerable groups as well, with the aim of attending kindergarten; provision support of a health child consultation and disease prevention activities; additional pedagogical work for increasing of the children’s school readiness for start on equal terms. With the project a complex support to the vulnerable groups will be provided , answering their specific needs, regarding: parents’ capacities, overcoming development and educational deficiencies, health and social abilities and development motivation. With the realization of the described activities the target groups are practically supported for achieving their full and effective social inclusion.
