Community centre for children and parents "TZAREVGRAD"

The implementation of the procedure for direct grant BG05M9OP001-2.004 "Services for Early Childhood Development" in Veliko Turnovo municipality will provide an opportunity to build on the results achieved under the project "An investment in the early childhood - a guarantee for the welfare of the children and the families of Veliko Tarnovo municipality " within the Social Inclusion Project of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy financed by borrowed funds from the World Bank. This project proposal aims at providing integrated services for early childhood development of children aged 0-7 years from vulnerable groups, including children with disabilities and their families, as well as future parents. Integrated social, health and educational services will be provided at the community center for children and families in the town of Veliko Tarnovo,. 24 Bulgaria blvd., created under the Project: "An investment in the early childhood - a guarantee for the welfare of the children and the families of Veliko Tarnovo municipality ". Integrated services for early childhood development shall be provided by specially recruited and appointed specialists in the following areas: social services, healthcare and education. Project implementation is to improve the general well-being of children by: • Increasing health awareness and skills of the parents from the target groups; • Receiving qualified assistance for the upbringing of children with disabilities; • Improved interaction and inter-institutional cooperation at local level in the work with the target groups. The main project activities are: Early intervention of disability; Individual educational support for children with disabilities; Formation and development of parenting skills, family counseling and support; Child health consultation; Increasing school readiness of children for equal start at school; Family center for children aged 0-3 years.
