Provision of services for early childhood development in the Municipality of Byala, Ruse District

The project will complement and support the activity of the successfully created integrated services for early childhood development (ECD) within the project for social inclusion “Services for children up to 7 years and their families”. The services will be provided in the renovated and refurbished premises, equipped with machinery, specialized sports and health equipment for early disability intervention, technological equipment, and office furniture. For the realization of the teams’ mobile work, the provided specialized car will be used. For the service provision, consultants will be hired on specialized hourly services: “Early intervention of the disabilities”; individual educational support for children with disabilities; provision of psychological support and advice to current and future parents for the formation and development of parenting skills, family counseling and support, individual and group work with children and parents, incl. children and parents who are from vulnerable groups, aiming to attend kindergarten; support to provide health advice for children and activities on disease prevention; additional teacher training to increase the school children readiness for an equal start in school. For the service management and operation, staff will be hired: manager, accountant / cashier / host, driver, hygienist. The services will be provided based on individual assessment of the specific needs of the deprived target groups. The assistance of the Social Assistance Department-Byala will be sought for their determination. For the Project implementation a specialized administrative team will be organized – manager, accountant and a technical assistant. Information and publicity activities will be provided for the project objectives and results and EU financial contribution. The project will contribute to promoting equal opportunities for vulnerable groups and expand the volume and variety of social services for ECD.
