Caring for children and their families

Through this project will be supported the operation of the Community Center created by the Social Inclusion Project financed by a loan 7612BG from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the period 2008-2015.The purpose is to ensure sustainability of the provided integrated services for early childhood development aimed at children up to age of 7 years from vulnerable groups, incl. children with disabilities and their families and future parents. The main objectives of the project are:1.Prevention of social exclusion and reduction of child poverty by investing in early child development as well as creating a model for future supply of a package of integrated social services related to child care for parents and children from the defined vulnerable groups, and for children with disabilities and their families.2.To improve the children preparation for inclusion in the educational system and support for the building parental skills among vulnerable parents in order to limit the transmission of poverty across generations. Activities of the project proposal: Activity 1.Organization and project management. Activity 2.Information and publicity of the project. Activity 3.Management of the Centre for Early Childhood Development including provision of overheads,administrative and general staff costs Activity 4.Early intervention of disability. Activity 5.Individual educational support for children with disabilities. Activity 6.Provision of psychological support and counseling for future and present parents for building and development of parental skills, family counseling and support,individual and group work with children and parents,including children and parents who do not originate from vulnerable groups in order to attend kindergarten. Activity 7.Support for the provision of health advice for children and activities on disease prevention Activity 8.Additional educational training to have the children prepared for equal start in school.
