Providing integrated services for early childhood development in the municipality of Krumovgrad

The project "Provision of integrated services for early childhood development in the municipality of Krumovgrad" complements and supports the work of successfully created Center for provision of social services Social Inclusion Project (funded by a loan 7612BG from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the period 2008 to 2015). Through this project will continue its successfully established integrated services for early childhood development. Services for early childhood development aim to support families in raising their children, to stimulate them to greater activity in all spheres of life to improve the quality of the relationship child - parents, which improves the atmosphere in the family environment for young children. Parents will have the opportunity for a comprehensive support - from entirely related to care for young children to counseling on ways to improve their education, skills, employability, etc. Services are divided into two groups regarding the age of the target groups of children - services for expectant parents, services for parents and families of children up to 3 years of age and services for children from 3 to 7 years old and their families. The focus of services for children up to age 3 and their families is placed mostly on the formation and development of parenting skills. For children from 3 to 7 years, the services are mainly aimed at integration in kindergartens and improving school readiness. Among other activities, basic services focus on group and individual work with children and their families. For both age groups of children will be provided services and health counseling. The aim is not only to provide support in the event of an established disability or illness, and to form health culture for proper rearing of children as a means to prevent health risks.
