Providing integrated services for early childhood development in a Community center for children and families - Sliven

The project proposal was developed in full accordance with the application guidelines, methodological guidelines for the provision of each of the services, full range of services for which the Sliven municipality is eligible candidate and in accordance with the established best practices in management of projects under this program. The project proposal aims to support the created - under the Social Inclusion Project in the municipality of Sliven - integrated services for early childhood development for children up to 7 years of age and their parents from vulnerable groups, incl. children with disabilities and their families and future parents as well. The project will contribute to developing a sustainable model for an integrated offering of services for young children and their families, improving access to health care, formation of parenting skills, improving the family environment, improving the readiness of children for inclusion in the educational system, preventing placement of children in specialized institutions. The planned activities are focused on the prevention of social exclusion among children by investing in early childhood development and comprehensive services to support and enhance the capacity of their parents. The planned services are mobile and integrated, both in terms of different specialists working together with target groups, as well as in terms of their structure - social, health, services for preschool preparation, etc. The full range of services and the practice justify functioning of the "Community Center for children and families" as a form of integrated offering of services under this project. For organizing, implementation and reporting of the project a team of representatives of the beneficiary will be formed. At the same time, a management team of the center will be formed as well. The project also plans to provide an information campaign for increasing awareness and public sensitivity.
