Prevention of the social exclusion and reducing the poverty among the children in the municipality of Razgrad

This project proposal “Prevention of the social exclusion and reducing the poverty among the children in Razgrad municipality” supplements and upgrades the results achieved by the project for social inclusion, financed by Loan 7612BG from the IBRD, within which integrated services for early kids’s development were provided in the municipality. The early kids’s development comprises overall necessary support for children aged 0-7 in order to be realized their right for survival, protection and care which will secure their best development. The early kids’s development comprises adequate health-care services on the pregnancy, mother and baby care, sufficient feeding for pregnant woman, suckling mother, baby and kid, providing opportunities and environment for early studying, family support, community development etc. The project proposal envisages provision of combination of innovative and integrated social, health and educative services and measures for prevention and support for small kids and families in risk. The services are rather characterized by their mobility, they will be provided at home or other natural for the kid environment. They are conformed with the individual needs and resources of the families and their kids. A staff of specialists from different fields will be appointed for the service provision. They will work in interdisciplinary team and will coordinate in between the efforts for meeting the complex needs of the kids and the families from the target groups. The implementation of the project proposal aims at establishment of network for sustainable integrated services on the territory of Razgrad municipality for early kids’s development for families with children aged 0-7, including disabled children; vulnerable children aged 0-7 and their families; children and adults in risk, as well as to stimulate bigger activity in all life aspects to secure better family environment for small kids to overcome the poverty transferred through generations.
