"The right to work - right to a decent life"

The project builds and elaborate social services network in the Municipality of Svishtov, by implementation of community base services "Social Consultation Center" and "Social assistance” for people with disabilities and their families.The services are integrated and interrelated, targeting to labor market inactive people-unemployed,people with disabilities and their families.The SCC is an innovative social service that will support the unemployed, people with disabilities and their family members for more active behavior,self-realization and entering the labor market for social and professional development and quality of life.In the SCC will be offered a package of stimulating activities including individual social and psychological counseling and support to increase self-esteem, a change in attitudes and empowerment;information,advice and guidance to assist individuals in their choice of a suitable profession;motivational workshops and training for acquiring employ ability skills for independent living,job search and maintain good working reputation. In existence SCC will organize vocational training "Social Assistant" for 25 participants,of which at least 20 will be employed.Users will be guided and assisted in registering as job seeker and/or employment.Min. 15 persons with disabilities will start work. SCC will have a move library and informational materials.The service "Social Assistant" covers the 40 persons with disabilities and includes personal support,support and social inclusion, support for public utility needs.The service aims to support family members in care for the child/person with a disability to enable them for participation in the activities and services of SCC.This total commitment to the interest of the family towards combating unemployment and improving the quality of life makes the service different from existing similar so far.In the service will cover a minimum of 40 users.The project will implemented in partnership with ECIP Foundation.
