Chance for employment

Project "Chance for employment" was developed jointly by Foundation "Empathy" as a leading organization and "VR Vision" Ltd. as a partner. The objective of this project is to assist the visually impaired people to find their realization in the labor market. This group of people often remains isolated due to the peculiarities of disability and due to the limited opportunities for training and professional realization. Increased competition, the need for higher qualifications, more soft skills and other impede the access of disabled people to the labor market. In response to this problem, the project partners foresee the realization of a group of activities, which include: - supporting people who use the social service CSRI of Foundation "Empathy" to find job through individual and group work with them, social, motivational and psychological support, training for the development of art and souvenirs; - implementation of initiatives to inform and promote the capacity of people with visual disabilities for work to employers, employment agencies, media and the public in order to break the stereotypes and changing attitudes in society; - training for acquisition of key competence 4 "Digital competence" on the part of the passed motivational and psychological support; - employment of 12 persons with visual disabilities for a period of six months. As a result of activities carried out under the project 25 people with impaired vision will be motivated and will build skills for inclusion in the labor market, 12 people will be given a chance to start work that will increase their confidence in their own capabilities, will enhance their social status, will boost their self-esteem as full members of society, but mostly it will be a good example for employers, intermediaries in the labor market and people with disabilities to full professional realization.
