"Chance for an active and independent life"

The project proposal "Chance for active and independent life" is aimed at providing mobile integrated social service for people with disabilities and their families, which will improve quality of life and access to services for social inclusion in response to complex needs, including health needs of people with disabilities, aimed at tackling the effects of social exclusion and poverty, which in turn will allow for the return of the real labor market for people who care for them. Training for acquiring first and second degree of professional qualification and afterwards employment of 25 unemployed people who to care for dependent family members are envisaged. Another major activity is organizing and conducting art activities with therapeutic focus for people with disabilities focused on stimulating creativity and self-fulfillment of these patients in order to attract the interest and motivate ambition for self-expression and personal growth of the most vulnerable part of society namely people with disabilities. The project will help improve access to employment and tackle poverty and social exclusion by providing integrated, mobile social service and the creation of new jobs.
