Opportunities for vulnerable groups of Nedelino Municipality for active inclusion in the labor market

Applicant Foundation "Centre for Sustainable Development, Education and Progress" is located in the municipality of Nedelino. The dominating trends in the municipality as lack of awareness and lack of training and professional qualification for the above mentioned target groups do not allow for active involvement of disabled and inactive and unemployed people to the labor market, leading to social isolation and reduced quality of life. The implementation of this project will create conditions for active involvement and provoke the interest of employers and institutions that could contribute to the active involvement of the beneficiaries. The project aims to provide a framework and conditions for inclusion in employment and professional realization for dignified and independent life in community. The project will establish Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration which will provide for one year modern, focused and efficient services to 40 disabled and 20 inactive and unemployed people to support their return to the labor market. Users involved in the project will undergo various trainings leading to motivation and acquisition of knowledge, skills, competencies and professional qualifications and enabling them active inclusion. The service "Social Assistant" will be provided for six months, allowing for part of the trained to acquire practical knowledge and skills, while helping to better lives those in need of this service. Three months before the end of the project two of the beneficiaries will be employed full time in the Foundation "Centre for Sustainable Development, Education and Progress". As result of project activities conditions will be created for overcoming the isolation and return of persons from the target groups to the labor market. Employers will be convinced in the potential of persons involved in the project and will form attitudes for their employment, following the example of the Foundation. The project duration is 15 months.
