Social Inclusion and Access to Employment in the Municipality of Kubrat

Activation of long-term unemployed and inactive persons is an important policy priority in the labor market in the municipality of Kubrat. There are 2,250 disabled people in the municipality of Kubrat, out of which only 77 are registered with the Labour Office as job seekers. This determines the need for realization of this project geared towards the needs of people with disabilities and their relatives for "active involvement" in the labor market. The target group of the project is 100 people with disabilities and their relatives, which will be focused activities implemented under Components 1 and 2. The overall objective of the project is: Promoting social inclusion, increased motivation for independent living and improve access to employment for people with disabilities and their families in the municipality of Kubrat. Main activities of the project are: Supporting employment and improving access to employment for people with disabilities by creating innovative social services (C2); Providing intermediary services to the labor market; Training to enhance the professional skills or acquire new; Employment of persons caring for dependent family members with disabilities and employment of people with disabilities, after providing intermediary services on the labor market and / or training for a period of six months; Working with employers to tackle discriminatory attitudes of representatives of vulnerable groups in the labor market (C1). Expected results: Provided innovative social services for people with disabilities, according to their needs, social and active involvement in the labor market of people with disabilities and their relatives by providing intermediary services on the labor market, training and through subsidized employment for six months, reducing negative attitudes among employers in employment of people with disabilities.
