Active involvement for a better life

This project aims to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and their families,raise their motivation to lead an independent life through encouraging equal opportunities for these individuals for employment and integration into the labor market,and provide services according to their individual needs. There will be inclusion in the labor market of people who take care of their relatives with disabilities,people with disabilities and economically inactive individuals.Within the project will be performed activities according to Component1 and Component2. Target groups:economically inactive individuals;people with disabilities and their families;families with children with disabilities;children and adults at risk. Main activities:Organization and management of the project.-Implementation of integrated approaches in order to motivate and encourage the participation of carers for dependents in the labor market.-Providing of training for acquiring a vocational qualification for part of a profession.-Employment of carers for dependents or people with disabilities after providing of training for a period up to 6 months.- Renovation and current repairs of the premises, which will provide the needed services, and delivery of the appropriate equipment and furniture.- Establishment and operation of the Centre for Social and Integration Services.-Training and supervision of the Centre´s staff. - Application, assessment of needs, ranking of the candidates and selection of users.-Provision of social services within the community.- "Social assistant" and "personal assistant".-Provision of hourly integrated services at the Centre for Social and Integration Services.-Employability support and improvement of access to employment for people with disabilities.-Initiatives for information and presentation of opportunities for people with disabilities to break the stereotypes and change the attitude of the public and the employers.-Information and communication.
