"WITHOUT LIMITATION Center for hourly social services for people with disabilities"

The project proposal is about provision of innovative forms of community based social services aimed at the target group of persons with special needs. A Center for Hourly Social Services will be open in Burgas. 16 assistants and 1 dispather will work there. By implementing this service, the applicant organization aims to upgrade performed till now services aimed at consumers - persons with disabilities within their previous project entitled "NEW START Starting innovative social services for people with disabilities in Burgas". It was realized in the period 01.06.2013g.- 31.05.2015, within the scheme "Without Borders" with the financial support of OP "Human Resources Development", financed by the European Social Fund. With its new project applying organization continues search for new forms of services to people with disabilities in Bulgaria, particularly in Burgas, based on the experience and observations of the previous project to the real needs of people with disabilities and their families. At the same time, the new proposals are consistent with what has been learned about the ways of service of persons with disabilities in other EU countries, with models that successfully operate and cause it to be removed any barriers to persons with disabilities. A Center for Hourly Social Services will give a chance to people with disabilities over 18, as well as relatives of persons with disabilities who constantly have to care for them to get support in carrying out these activities of daily life, including those related to employment. It will be innovation and at the same time addition to previously offered social services such as personal / social assistant and others. And will contribute to the elimination of the limitations that these persons impeding the full social inclusion of persons with disabilities.
