This project proposal aims at providing qualitative care for people with serious impairments and their families on the territory of Burgas region by creating the necessary infrastructure to provide integrated cross-sectoral services in the community. The planned activities include repair and reconstruction of individual projects for the needs of a Disability Support Center and their families, including serious multiple impairments. In order to ensure appropriate conditions for the users of the Centre, it is envisaged to purchase specialized medical equipment and furnishing according to the functional requirements for the provided services. The project will respond to the need of provision of adequate support and create conditions for people with disabilities, serious impairments with limited or inability to self-service to receive care based on their individual needs. The center has a capacity of 30 users and will provide daily, half-day and hourly services such as care, rehabilitation, therapy, counseling, information and support, including cares for target groups in a home environment, mobile services, for a period not exceeding 14 days, according to the individual needs of the target group. The project is aimed at people with various forms of disabilities (physical, sensory and mental disabilities) aged over 18 with limited or inability to self-service and disabled people using residential services. The implementation of the project will contribute to ensuring adequate care for the severely disabled, with severe multiple disabilities by providing integrated measures aimed at improving access to social and health services and providing support to their families who care for them.
