The project aims to improve the quality of life of 62 children and young people, 48 of whom with disabilities, living in residential services managed by the Cedar Foundation in the towns of Kyustendil and Kazanlak. The project will create opportunities for a more effective process of forming, enhancing and improving skills for autonomy and independence, learning, orientation in the open labor market, social inclusion and personal development. The project activities include group and individual therapeutic sessions through labor therapy, kinesitherapy, sensory therapy and photo drama; provision of support for medical, psychological, social and educational counseling, including counseling of children and young people with challenging behavior; support for personal development, education, talent development and the acquisition of skills for independent living; organization of different events in the local communities for active social inclusion. An external evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of the interventions will be carried out in the course of the project in order to ensure sustainability of the results achieved for the children and young adults after the project is completed.
