Mental Health, Inclusive Training and Social Inclusion

The main objective is the prevention of institutionalization and the promotion of the social inclusion of 50 children and young people up to 29 years of age including disabled, accommodated in the temporary placement center and family-type placement centers on the territory of Sofia through the formation of skills for autonomy, learning, work and support for personal development. The implementation of the project will contribute to the prevention of the institutionalization and promotion of the social inclusion of 50 children and young people up to 29 residing in residential services through: - participation of the project team in the multidisciplinary teams of the social services for the preparation of a professional assessment of the needs of the children and the youth and development of a real-life Individual Development Plan - development and implementation of specialized programs for individual and group work in support of the personal development and social inclusion of children and youth accommodated in residential services - conducting therapeutic activities to overcome deficits children and adolescents accommodated in critical services by developing talent and promoting mutual assistance. - mobile work to be carried out on site at the two temporary accommodation centers and a family-type accommodation center where children and adolescents live and carry out community-based social activities outside of the place of residence and outside the sheltered office environment , respectively a social services center. The above activities aim at assessing the needs and opportunities of children and young people and on the basis of it developing specialized specialized programs for the development of the resources and capacities of children and young people, on the one hand, to increase self-esteem and self-esteem and, on the other, to building social and opportunities for social inclusion so that they can take a stand alone way of living outside the institution.
