Creating an Inclusive and Non-formal Education Center "New Perspectives through Art - Art and Bound" for children and young people with autistic disorders

The current project proposal will create a basic educational model for inclusive non-formal education for children and young people with developmental problems. The participants will develop their abilities and promote their personal development by giving them opportunities for socialization and realization in life in the arts, tourism, crafts and culture. The project foresees work with 16 to 20 children and young people between 13 and 29 years of age who will be involved in mixed interest-development workshops to develop skills and concentration and team-building skills. There are 5 key activities for developing and implementing programs for individual and group work: • psychological and social counseling of children and young people from the project target group • development of an innovational program “Model – composing and development of the cognitive skills and creativity” for children and young people from the target group • discovering and developing specific skills and talents, and promoting communication and teamwork among participants • appointing a team and creative staff for the art workshops • organizing and conducting social marketing for the promotion and sustainability of project activities The planned project activities are in line with the overall objective of the procedure: “Preventing institutionalization, encouraging the social inclusion of children and youngsters with disabilities, even those at risk, which are residing in residential services, by implementing measures to build self-sufficiency, learning and work skills and support for the personal development.” Expected results: 1. A working program for personal and professional development of the project target group. 2. An equipped center for inclusive and non-formal education. 3. Changing public attitude towards tolerance and acceptance of differences.
