Social Academy for a complete and quality life

The project aims at forming skills for self-sufficiency, learning, working and supporting the personal development of youths residing in resident type social services. The target group includes a minimum of 40 young people aged 15-29 who are resident in resident type of social services. The target group, young people, will be attracted by different resident services on the territory of the Sofia Municipality and the Sofia District, such as a dwelling, a crisis center and a family-type accommodation center. Project activities include: Activity1 Informing and motivating young people residing in resident type of social services Activity 2 Training to form knowledge and skills for independent living, learning, work and personal development Activity 3 Language training Action 4 Provision of consultancy services for at-risk youth and formation of support groups Activity 5 Organization of free time and talent development The successful implementation of the activities will lead to the realization of the objectives, the results and the set indicators of the project: • Provided support and motivation for work and personal development of young people at risk; • Providing a set of training and consultancy services for social inclusion and adaptation of 40 disadvantaged young people; • Acquired knowledge, skills and practical abilities for independent lifestyles and responsible behavior toward to themselves and to the other participants of the target group. • Provided access to training to acquire and extend existing knowledge and competencies of young people • Make full use of young people's leisure time by engaging in interest-based activities to develop their talents as well as contributing to a sense of satisfaction and self-esteem • Social inclusion and adaptation of disadvantaged young people through participation in joint activities, mutual assistance groups and public appearances
