The project aims to mobilize resources to establish an approach for the development of opportunities for children and adolescents based in residential services (Family-type Residential Centre for Children and Youth, and Protected Home and Temporary Home) in the Municipality of Pomorie. Project's activities are focused on overcoming social isolation of children and adolescents from residential services and their active involvement in the life of the community. It will work on broadening and developing children and adolescents' social network. The expected results include: Participation of 24 children and adolescents with learning disabilities in activities aimed to enhance their resources; Improved opportunities for the development of strengths of the targeted group in order to participate in the community; Positevely influencing on social assumptions and sensitivity towardchildren and adolescents from residential services. Following activities are planed to be implemented inder the project: Activity 1.Giving information and publicity about the project. Activity 2. Researching the needs and resources of the children and adolescents. Creating a profile of opportunities. Activity 3. Providing individual support for developing skills for independent life and social inclusion. Activity 4. Training services in empowering. Activity 5.Work with the community.
