Social inclusion and development of the youth in Burgas Municipality

The project proposal is aimed at providing a series of trainings to help prevent institutionalization, promote social inclusion of disadvantaged children and young people, including those with disabilities and at risk, who are housed in residential services. Project implementation will include measures to build skills for autonomy, learning and work, and also support for personal development. The focus will be on providing social and health services in the community to reduce the number of children and young people in institutions. In the implementation of the project activities and the achievement of the objectives, Association "Probudnik" will observe and apply the horizontal principles for: - equal opportunities and non-discrimination, for which specific actions and measures will be taken to promote equal opportunities and prevent any discrimination based on sex, race, color, ethnicity or social origin, genetic characteristics, language, religion or beliefs, political or other opinions, property status, origin, disability, age or sexual orientation, taking into account the needs of the different target groups at risk of such discrepancies . - gender equality, with efforts not only being limited to the implementation of certain impacts directed at women, but also pursuing gender equality in both men and women. - sustainable development by providing specific themes to increase the capacity and knowledge of the target groups in terms of environmental protection, resource efficiency, climate change mitigation and adaptation, sustainability of natural disasters as well as prevention and risk management.
