Expanding the activity of the social enterprise with VTC for trainers of guide dogs for people with disabilities

This project proposal aims at measures to facilitate the access to employment in the field of social and solidarity economy by expanding the activity of a social enterprise with VTC (Vocational Training Center) for trainers of guide dogs within "Eyes on Four Paws" Foundation. The target group includes 6 people from the vulnerable groups of people with disabilities and disadvantaged people on the labor market who are threatened by social exclusion. Established team of qualified professionals who purposefully to work with the newly appointed members of the target group will create the conditions for development and upgrading of the acquired knowledge, will promote individual skills and will work towards building a sustainable employment perspective. The sustainability of the project results will be guaranteed not only by preserving the employment of at least half of the newly hired individuals for six months after the end of the project, but also through providing the functioning of the Social enterprise for a period not less than 12 months. This will be guaranteed through the planned establishment of a successful enterprise with a social cause, a positive financial result, which is independent in decision-making, does not depend entirely on external financing, and has clear perspective for development and achieving social goals. The planned equipment is in accordance with the needs and demands of the 6 newly employed people, and facilitates their involvement and active participation in the work process as part of the team. A procedure for obtaining a license for VTC will be conducted during the project implementation. Providing accurate, timely, appropriate and lawful management and reporting of the project activities is carried out through the process of project management. All project activities will be accompanied by measures for information and publicity which will emphasize on the communication of the support of the EU through ESF granted to the applicant.
