Support for sustainable employment

The project proposal "Support for sustainable employment" of the Bulgarian Red Cross Association / BRC / envisages creation of new jobs, with the purpose to ensure support, development and professional integration of people from socially vulnerable disadvantaged groups on the labour market - inactive and long-term unemployed at risk of social exclusion, due to lack of permanent employment. All project activities are aimed at supporting and developing of the part of society which faces the hardest difficulties in their professional, social, personal realisation and self-expression. This will be achieved through creation of new jobs, depending on the needs of the target group. This is in line with the adopted national targets for the implementation of the EU strategy "Europe 2020" for higher and better employment, fight against poverty and social exclusion, as well as for modernization of public policies through investment in human capital. The main activities for its implementation are: - Provision of employment for 6 persons for a period of 12 months employed through a labour contract. They will be employed in the Central warehouse facility, National Training Centre and the Secretariat of the BRC National Council. The labour contracts of three of them will be extended for another six months after the completion of the project. - Provision of support to the new employees, through psychological counselling and motivation. - Providision of mentoring for their successful adaptation, socialization and integration in the real working environment.
