Creating a social enterprise for culinary tourism to provide hot meals for people with disabilities and people living in poverty in Yavornitsa, and support the acquisition of professional degree or level of qualification by young people leaving care homes.

The project envisages the creation of a social enterprise for culinary tourism, which will be based and will use the culinary history of the guest house "Orchid" in Yavornitsa, municipality Petrich. Five people from the target group are to be hired as profession "chef" and "assistant chef" in the newly created social enterprise for a period of 12 months. Under the guidance of the Manager of ET "Rukia Izirova- Orchid", they will learn to cook and offer visitors food combining the traditions of three ethnical groups on the territory of Yavornitsa – Bulgarians, Turks and Roma - food mixed and modified over the years of coexistence and communication. It is expected that during the execution of the project 12 events to be organized with theme "Cooking together", which besides the appointed personnel, will be attended by people from nursing homes in the municipality of Petrich. In the partnership with the municipality a special place for sale will be set up, and everyone will have the opportunity to experience the food and to feel the natural flavor of the past, that managed to combine the challenges of our time. 30% of the company's profit during the implementation of the project will be used to provide free food for 25 disabled and disadvantaged people in Yavornitsa, the information about those in extreme need will be provided by the respective town hall. 20% of the profit will be used for acquisition of professional qualification degree on part of the profession of children leaving orphanages. With the remaining 50% will be provided stability by keeping 30% of the new jobs upon completion of project activities.
