Development of social entrepreneurship of NPKSB

The problem with the employment of people with disabilities is an important priority in the social polices of many countries. It is associated largely with difficulties in securing suitable employment for people with various types and degrees of disability. The most serious threat of exclusion from the labor market are people with visual disabilities, especially in the presence of comorbidities, which further narrows the scope for employment. The issue of providing employment for people with disabilities is aggravated by the global economic crisis, leading to job losses, the great migration of people of working age, requirements of higher educational qualifications for the workplace, greater competition i the labor market. In response to these problems NPKSB plans to expand their business and create new jobs and to employ 14 people, of which 4 people with disabilities will administer the activity for NPKSB - online store, and 10 people with impaired vision over 71% will work in locations throughout the country as street vendors. Their employment in this project is expected to be for a period of 12 months. These people will be given psychological support and motivation through which to encourage more active behavior on the labor market, acquiring social skills, organizing workflow, prioritizing tasks, teamwork, self-discipline and a desire to increase their educational background. To newly recruited persons will be provided mentors to help the smooth entry into the workflow. As a result of project activities, people with disabilities will be able to improve their standard of living, receive regular income, to develop new skills and upgrade existing ones, to gain knowledge and skills in the profession and most of all to be socially included.
