„PAINT ME A SMILE” The goal of the project is opening new job opportunities and acquiring new assets, both current and non-current for the needs of the social corporation “Paint Me a Smile”.

“Paint Me a Smile” is a charitable project which is a continuation of the activities of the well-established social organization. The social organization began its activities in April, 2016 as a result of provided grant of 12,500 levs funded by Bulgarian Center for Not-for-Profit Law America for Bulgaria.Due to lack of funds, we organize events occasionally with the involvement of the patients diagnosed with cancer on a volunteer basis. Unfortunately, the organization doesn’t have an office space to host the events. Currently, the project activities take place in the organization’s facility which elaborates the proper realization of all activities. The timeframe of the Project is 18 months with the following objectives: opening new job opportunities, acquiring new assets (current and non-current), renting an office space and others. We plan on hiring 8 tailors, 2 sales persons, 1 graphic designer, 1 marketing sales and a Manager. Each employee will be hired based on their professional qualification, as well as successfully completing a vocational training in tailoring. On the very first month of launching the Project, we plan on promoting it among the community. In the first 4 months, we will rely on a Psychologist to provide motivational and support services to the participants in the Project while actively looking for a job. For those patients with cancer that we hire, we plan on working with a social worker who will be involved for a period of 12 months by providing social and professional integration and rehabilitation services. We will provide group and individual face-to-face therapy.
