Workshop of Caritas

By establishing the Workshop of Caritas we aim to provide employment and support to disabled people and people with unequal rights on the labor market.They have limited possibilities to find a job owing to discrimination, lack of education, experience and trust. We would like to help them come out of being isolated and bring back their confidence, dignity and sense of gratification and significance by allowing them to work, training and giving them psycho-social support. In the workshop soaps will be made by the “melt and pour” method, as well as handmade candles made by melting wax and pouring them in different shapes.An activity of such kind does not require special degree in education, but simply skills for following instructions, and creativity, keeping in mind that working with these materials, different fragrances, colors and shapes, has a therapeutic and calming effect Main target audience:-disabled people,-people with unequal rights on the labor market and socially excluded people Expected results -Employment of people from the target audience -Social and professional adaptation of the people from the target audience -Establishment of a stable social enterprise -Realization of products and a secure market for it to be sold Included main activities 1.Equipment for the newly established workplace and adapting of the environment to the disabled people and assuring safety and health working conditions 2.Selection and psychological and social diagnostics of the selected people 3.Employment for a period of 12 months of 12 people from the target audience 4.Social and professional integration of the employed people for the target audience 5.Providing training for key competences 6.Psychological support and motivation for the vulnerable people from the target audience 7.Researching possible market realization for the handmade products and the services provided 8.Social marketing and popularization of the social economy and the social entrepreneurship
