“Supportive activities in Gorna Oryahovitsa"

By the creation of a Social municipal enterprise “Supportive activities in Gorna Oryahovitsa” and within the current project new employment positions in the sphere of public utilities and planting would be revealed. They would be of great importance for the development of the local economy as well as the socializing and the integration of people from vulnerable groups. Until that moment such type of activities have been performed by the representatives of the target groups as temporary employment measures, directed by the management “Labour Office”, Gorna Oryahovitsa. The Social enterprise would perform sanitation activities, as well as activities connected to the improvement of the environment. It would also perform minor repair activities of private and municipal properties, maintenance of parks, streets, gardens, etc. Based on the already accepted and approved by the City Council “Tax rate”, collected by the Social enterprise, some activities would be carried out against payment, while the incomes would be used for the enterprise functioning. Interested stakeholders would be attracted during the implementation of the activities – local authority, non-governmental organizations, management “Labour Office” and etc. The main motive for the creation of the social enterprise in this economic sphere is the opportunity to employ members of the target groups, by offering innovative for the municipality, supportive services within a real working environment. During the process of enterprise’s development, undoubtedly, a leading social aim is the maximization of the social effect for the people of the target groups, while the sanitation, planting and development activities are only a means of its achievement.
