Creation of employment in the enterprise "Social activities" of Municipality Nikola Kozlevo

The main project aim is to provide employment and opportunity for social inclusion and professional integration of persons from vulnerable groups into the labor market through the creation of a new municipal enterprise. The structure of the enterprise includes 2 directions: Landscaping and Public Dining. Nikola Kozlevo is one of the municipalities with the highest unemployment rate in Bulgaria (45% - 31.08.2017). This is the reason for creation of an economically sustainable social enterprise (SE) to employ people from the largest target groups: long-term unemployed; unemployed youth and unemployed over 54 years of age. The main activities of the project are: 1. Creation of SE "Social Activities". Management and publicity; 2. Psychological support and motivation of persons from vulnerable groups for inclusion in employment; 3. Repair of premises; 4. Delivery of equipment and furniture; 5. Organization an SE team, evaluation, selection and recruit people from target groups and mentors; 6. Support for employment and functioning of SE "Social Activities"; 7. Social and professional integration of employees from vulnerable groups. The beginning of the project includes motivational training for psychological support of 32 unemployed persons, appointed at the SE for 12 months-14 persons in the Public Dining, and 18 persons in the Landscaping. For the first 6 months of employment, 5 people from the target group will be also Mentors. The Director and Accountant of the SE are persons out of the target group. For the legal services by the project will be hired Jurisconsult. Additional consultants-Psychologist and Social Worker will provide monthly meetings with the target group. The project provide construction works and delivery of the necessary equipment. After the end of the project, the SE will continue to work, with 16 persons from the target group at least 6 months.
