"Chance for a Better Life in the Municipality of Chepelare"

The project "Chance for a Better Life in Chepelare Municipality" envisages the establishment of a new social enterprise with activity of landscaping and development for improving the environment of Chepelare Municipality, reducing unemployment and improving the social status of the people. The project activities are aimed at social and professional integration of persons from vulnerable groups by promoting social entrepreneurship in order to improve the quality of life and to overcome the consequences of social exclusion and poverty of these persons. It is planned to organize and carry out motivational training and professional trainings on the profession of "Worker in the landscaping" specialty "Landscaping and Floriculture" and by the profession "Assistant in the construction" specialty "Basic and finishing works" for acquiring first degree of professional qualification. Improving skills and knowledge contributes to the successful realization of people in the labor market, to their retention and especially to the enhancement of their professional development opportunities. Another main activity is organizing and conducting training sessions focused on the development of social competencies in order to motivate the ambition of independence, self-assertion, self-expression, and personal growth of the most vulnerable part of society, namely people with special needs. The project will help improve access to employment and tackle poverty and social exclusion by providing employment in the social enterprise for a period of 12 months.
