Social entrepreneurship - a way to integrate vulnerable groups

DS Auto Ltd. is a micro-enterprise, founded in 2015 in Stara Zagora, with main activity 45.20 Maintenance and repair of motor vehicles. The company offers various services, the most popular of which are auto-painting and tinsmith services. Recently offered car paints and accessories. Deepening social problems in society, related to the employment of a large part of the Bulgarian population included in the so-called vulnerable groups, and the growing risk of social exclusion require taking various measures, both by the state and by the businesses. This requires developing a project whose main goal is by facilitating access to employment and professional integration of vulnerable groups in the society to provide support for their inclusion in the social economy. It can be achieved through the implementation of three specific objectives: 1) employment for members of the target groups and development of social entrepreneurship; 2) create suitable working conditions for work of newly appointed persons; 3) enhancing the competitiveness of persons from vulnerable groups in the labor market. These objectives will be achieved through the implementation of three main activities: 1) Employ 11 unemployed persons from vulnerable groups in the labor market; 2) Equipment of newly created jobs; 3) Provide training in social and civic competences. As a result of these activities, the existing company will be reorganized in a social enterprise in which will be employed 11 persons under an employment contract for 1 year, will be created appropriate working conditions by purchasing new equipment, will be increased competitiveness of newly appointed persons by increasing their social and civic competences and qualifications, and after the project completion will be created additional employment for 6 months for 6 persons.
