New opportunities for employment in the green system and public services in Municipality of General Toshevo

The aim of the project is social inclusion and professional integration of vulnerable groups unemployed by protected employment in Municipal Social Enterprise (SE) for landscaping and public utilities of General Toshevo Municipality. SE will provide for: repair of municipal properties, roads, alleys and sidewalks; maintenance and landscaping of green areas; snow cleaning, spring and autumn cleaning etc. Project target group: long-term unemployed; unemployed over the age of 54; unemployed with basic or lower education and without professional qualification. Main project activities: 1.Creation of municipal SE for landscaping and public utilities; 2.Psychological support and motivation of persons from vulnerable groups for inclusion in employment; 3.Repair and furnishing of the staff office; 4.Supply of equipment and tools; 5.Sellection and appointment of a SE staff and mentors; 6.Evaluation, selection and recruitment of persons from the target groups in the SE; 7.Support for employment and functioning of the SE for landscaping and public utilities; 8.Social and professional integration of employees from vulnerable groups. For initial motivation 25 persons from the target group will be trained. After the selection,12 of them will be recruited in the SE for 12 months. The SP will also include persons different of the target group: Director, Accountant, Constructor, Plant expert, Steward, Electrician and Driver. The Constructor and the Plant expert will also be Mentors for the first 6 months of employment. Psychologist and Social Worker will take a part in consultations with the target group. For legal services by the project will be hired Lawyer. In order to ensure the SE activity, the staff office - municipal property will be repaired, furnished and provided necessary equipment, tools, materials and consumables. After the completion of the project, the SE will continue the activity as 6 persons from the target group will remain at work for a minimum of 6 months.
