"Establishment of a social enterprise for landscaping and public works" Green assistants "in Burgas Municipality "

This project proposal aims at providing support and social inclusion of vulnerable groups by creating suitable conditions for their professional integration in the sphere of social economy. The project envisages the establishment and operation of Social Enterprise "Green Assistants" in Burgas Municipality which will respond to the need to support the social inclusion and realisation of disadvantaged and other socially excluded persons on the labour market .The social enterprise will provide employment to 13 disadvantaged persons, engaged in the provision of landscaping activities and maintenance of municipal sites and areas - park spaces, green areas in the remote districts of Burgas and the small settlements on the territory of the municipality, and 3 people staff. To ensure the functioning of the enterprise and create a healthy and safe working environment, reconstruction of premises provided for the social enterprise is envisaged and the necessary equipment for its activity will be purchased. Providing jobs within the project will be combined with activities to support the acquisition of work skills and independent living skills through conducting vocational training. The start of the social enterprise's activities will support the process of labour market integration of people in risk groups. With the implementation of the project, two important problems will be solved - on the one hand, the opportunity for realization of people from different risk groups will be offered, and on the other - sustainable maintenance of green areas on the territory of Burgas Municipality will be achieved.
