Establishment of Socially Entrepreneurial Academy for Performing and Aplied Arts

The immediate objective of the project is to create a sustainable social enterprise within the association "Tishina" in the field of performing and applied arts products such as concerts, theater workshops, performances, festivals, dialogues, exhibitions, competitions, etc. As a result, this will facilitate access to sustainable employment and social inclusion of people with hearing impairments and representatives of other vulnerable groups. The problems targeted by the project are on the one hand to the sustainability of the social enterprise itself and on the other hand to the representatives of specific vulnerable groups. Current performance arts activities of the Association are carried out under the umbrella of its brands - the group "Gestim" and the theater "Mime-Art". The bands are composed primarily of persons with impaired hearing, most of them participating on a voluntary basis or with small one-time honoraria provided through project financing or tickets from spectators. Association manages this activity not as an independent social business, but as part of its mission to help people with impaired hearing. The project consists of the following activities: 1. Social and professional integration of members of vulnerable groups in the social economy sector; 2. Equipment of newly created jobs and refurbihsments in connection with the activities of the social enterprise; 3. Support for employment creation for up to 12 months 4. Survey of demand and supply of the goods and services delivered by the social enterprise 5. Social marketing and promotion of the social economy and social entrepreneurship. 6. Project management The main results are: - created a social enterprise within the association "Tishina", offering performing and applied arts products - hired 11 people from vulnerable groups of the scheme, mostly unemployed or inactive persons with impaired hearing.
