Achieving social objectives through economic approaches "ARFID Ltd."

ARFID OOD was registered in 2007 and has developed design, manufacturing and commercial activities in the field of electronic identification and means of IoT (Internet of Things). The produced smart cards, smart labels and contactless smart sensors are the building blocks for systems to control public security, traffic flows, energy consumption and security of food and medicine. Based on the extensive experience in the sector of information and communication technologies gained in scientific institutes of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and in a real business environment, as well as through participation in Bulgarian and international research projects, including for improving the quality of life of the elderly and disabled, by telecontrolled service robots, the company's management plans to develop ARFID OOD as a successful new social enterprise. The financial support for employers under the procedure for Development of Social Entrepreneurship to create new social enterprises engaged in the social economy field will contribute to this end. The project proposal of the applicant, aimed at creating a successful social enterprise and conditions for professional integration of unemployed persons of poor competitiveness on the labor market in the field of social economy includes the following activities: 1 . Provide employment and open working places for 12 unemployed and persons belonging to groups of poor competitiveness on the labor market – 7 persons over 54 and 5 young people up to 29 years of age, for a period of 12 months. 2. Rent production equipment required for technical support of the newly created working places. 3. Psychological support and motivation for employment for individuals from vulnerable groups. 4. In-house training of persons from the target group and qualified expert consultancy on sharing experience, knowledge and skills. 5. Information and communications measures. 6. Project organization and management.
