Creating a social organization in Complex oncology center Ruse Ltd

Regional differences exist among the various planning regions in Bulgaria. All planning regions experience a demographic decline with exclusion of the South-West region. This decline is mainly due to lack of job openings. The provision of qualitative social, health and educational services and the securing of adequate income is a way of integrating the socially weak part of the population which will enable the prevention of poverty. The objectives are to create a social enterprise and new working places for people at a disadvantage in the labour market. A candidate, according to this procedure, is a hospital. The activities of this social enterprise will namely be in the field of the Health Services. The execution of the project will secure the employment of 12 jobless people. They will be working for a period of at least 12 months. After that period they will be expected to obtain professional experience and work habits. The new structure will secure job openings and will generate profit, part of which will be reinvested into new social activities. The main objective will be the employment of 12 previously unemployed persons that are part of the socially vulnerable groups of the labour market. Mentors will also be employed as an addition to the group. Their responsibilities will include practical training and introduction of the work process. Through the project, equipment and consumables will be purchased to ensure the functioning of a social enterprise. Equipment and consumables are necessary for the work of new employees. The project will also secure a specialised transportation vehicle. The beneficiaries of the Health service offered by the newly created enterprise will be from the group of people with disabilities. Thus the candidate will provide a very important link of the health care process, namely, equal access to the latter.
