Master class: Establishment of a green social enterprise in Sredets Municpality

The goal of the project proposal is to establish a special "green" social enterprise in the municipality of Sredets, Burgas District. Thus the access to employment will be facilitated and support provided for the social inclusion of vulnerable groups through the creation of appropriate conditions for their professional integration in the social economy. The specific objectives of the project are: To create a "green" social enterprise of Sredets municipality To facilitate access to employment for vulnerable groups To create appropriate opportunities for vulnerable groups included in employment To promote social enterprises The "Green" social enterprise of Sredets municipality will achieve its objectives, taking into consideration the extensive experience of working on various projects in the municipality associated with providing social services and seeking opportunities to support vulnerable groups in the municipality. Sredets municipality is one of the biggest territorial administrative units in the country. It includes 33 settlements with a population of 14 268 people (as of July 15, 2015). At the end of May 2015 economically active persons were 5 100. The unemployment rate is 23.82 percent. Only in January 2017 for newly registered municipality of Sredets are 65 and recovered with registration respectively - in Sredets 41 / increase of 0.19% compared to the previous month /.This highlights the need to create opportunities for particularly vulnerable groups in the labor market that are placed at a disadvantage. By creating a social enterprise municipality will provide opportunity for the target group, social and psychological support and will make the utmost possible employment of members of vulnerable groups in the activity for which they have the necessary qualities and abilities.
