Rubicon 54 - social entrepreneurship at Agenda Ltd.

Main objective of the project is to support social inclusion and professional integration of vulnerable group of unemployed women over the age of 54 through creation of a social enterprise inside the structure of "Agenda" Ltd and opening of 7 new jobs for representatives of the target group. It is intended to hire manager (full-time employment) and accountant (hourly employment) which will be involved in the work of the social enterprise, but they wouldn't be from the target groups. Project activities include providing vocational training for 6 representatives of the target group and equipping their new workplaces, providing employment for up to 12 months to the target group’s representatives and the social enterprise management team as well as performing a study on the market demand of the goods and services manufactured and provided by the social enterprise. We will support the change of specific social attitudes in the local communities for commitment to the creation of socially responsible society, supporting disadvantaged groups. A well-functioning and sustainable social enterprise will be created, perfectly positioned on the market as a result of a detailed study on demand and marketing strategy. As part of the project, activities for organization and management, as well as information and communication will be carried out. As a result of the project implementation 6 vulnerable persons will receive new vocational qualification, a functioning social enterprise will be created that will provide employment for 7ersons from the target group for a period of 12 months, which in turn will lead to increased economic autonomy of the target group’s representatives and their social integration. The social marketing activities carried out will contribute to the recognition of the social economy as a sector with potential to solve societal problems and important for the development of Bulgarian society.
